Orchard Grocer was born when the owners of MooShoes—sisters, Erica + Sara Kubersky—decided to renovate their vegan shoe store, cut its footprint in half, and create an all-vegan deli + market with the resulting new space.

We worked with the Kubersky sisters from inception to opening, starting by walking them through a branding process that involved reinventing and evolving the brand we created for MooShoes in 2004. The result was new logos for both companies that could effectively stand alone but were noticeably linked in style, color palette, and typography.

Following the branding work, we created a website for Orchard and an ever-evolving print menu with branded illustrations before moving on to store signage, illustrations and messaging for store signs and appliance banners; promotional cards, business cards, and ice cream punch cards; toothpick flags to stick in sandwiches; tote bags; stickers; bandanas, and countless other promotional and sale projects, many of which feature our old cat Alister holding various food items.

We also ran a photoshoot to capture some of their more popular menu items for use on the site and in socials. If you’re in NYC, we highly recommend stopping by.
