In 2015, First Book asked us to help them create a way to concisely, effectively, and boldly present the impact they’ve made on underserved communities. To do so, we took the concept of a more text-heavy annual report commonplace in the non-profit world of old and translated that into something more visual.
The final product—their 2014 Impact Report—is a 39-page print piece full of compelling photos from the field, quotes from teachers and kids, hard-hitting facts, and bright, bold custom illustrations + data visualizations that take those facts beyond stodgy bar graphs to creatively communicate impact with efficiency. We’re currently working on the 2017 update to the report.
