The Silicon Valley Toxics Coalition started in 1982 after leaks at area high-tech manufacturing sites were suspected of causing widespread birth defects and health issues in the Silicon Valley. The group approached us about a site redesign, feeling a need to update their look after years of grassroots work. We started by recreating their original logo as a vector image rather than raster (pixel-based) to allow for better use and a crisper look and then coordinated with a bay area Web development group to fill out and implement the site design we established.
