Not because of possible salmonella poisoning, but because keeping animals caged up their entire lives and being robbed of anything natural or kind or humane is an awful, awful thing to support with your dollar. We have zero faith that whomever McDonald’s chooses to replace Sparboe Farms will be any better than this. And supporting small farm egg producers, while better, is still enslavement and still cruel. There’s no denying that the majority of eggs we use come from factory farms (68% according to the Worldwatch Institute). It’s not tough. Go vegan. It’s worth it.
Oh, and sorry about the random commercial before this video. I hope it’s not for McDonald’s.
